The webinar aimed to discuss different technological options shortlisted under the project. The stakeholders/participants were required to provide inputs about the necessary steps to be taken to customize technologies suitable as per the local conditions before installation and to showcase the market potential for increased use of renewable energy technologies in buildings in India for developers and technology experts. 

Mr . Sanjay Dube, started off the proceedings by welcoming the various participants and stakeholders to the webinar. He informed the project was initiated in 2019 with a limited set of technologies and now expanding the scope using a tool developed by EDS which helped in finalizing technologies. He also mentioned the launching of demonstration projects with BASE to integrate renewable technologies in buildings. He highlighted the importance of the project and the crucial juncture for this project in the market.

Dr. Jonathan Demenge, started his address with his comments about the importance of the project and its potential to not only be a gamechanger in India but also beyond. With countries and organizations trying to adopt net-zero emissions and align with the 1.5oC target. He talked about the success of Heat pumps and green energy labels in Switzerland and Europe. He emphasized the shift of buildings to be prosumers with the generation of commercially viable renewable energy.

• Presentation on Fuel cells by Mr. Siddharth Mayur, Founder President & CEO, H2E Power
